READ MOREABOUT
A multidisciplinary practice built around an individual approach to spaces, furniture and objects.
Experience

Philosophy
The studio does not reproduce a signature aesthetic from one project to another. Its signature lies instead in the process: understanding the client, reading the architecture, attending to context and finding the pieces that will give a place its singular character.
For Hajer, true luxury is individuality: creating a space that could belong to no one else.
Biography

A graduate of the Fine Arts of Tunis, Hajer Azzouz has nearly four decades of experience across private residences, offices, furniture, sourcing and scenography.
Her practice combines the eye of an interior designer, collector, bargain hunter, scenographer and designer. Work and sourcing have taken her internationally, allowing her to develop a long-standing network of makers, dealers, galleries, artisans and creative collaborators.
The story / legacy

Hajer was the creative force behind HAD Studio. Its former home, "La Maison de la Plage" in Tunis, became much more than an interior-design office.
It was a laboratory for ideas, exhibitions, objects and encounters: a creative and cultural meeting place for artists, travellers, journalists, collectors, architects, ambassadors and other creative figures. La Maison de la Plage closed in 2020.
